Fundraising Cheque Presentations
Banstead & Sutton Rotary
We were delighted to attend the Banstead & Sutton Nonsuch Rotary Charity Presentation Evening at Cuddington Golf Club on 17 March 2026. During the evening, we received an additional £500 from the Rotary’s Christmas collections and enjoyed celebrating the generosity of everyone who helped make the fundraising a success.
Guests enjoyed a delicious three-course meal, speeches from Reigate Mayor Rich Michalowski, who presented the cheque, and Rotary President Adore Shuko. We also met representatives from other local charities and were pleased to celebrate alongside Louis Riccio, our wonderful Santa during the Waitrose Christmas collection. It was a lovely evening and a fitting celebration of the community’s support
Heatherden Masonic Lodge 7345
Throughout his year as Worshipful Master, Rik Upjohn led a fantastic programme of fundraising activities across the Lodge, and we were honoured to be chosen as his charity of the year.
Christine and Emma were delighted to attend the Lodge in March to receive the cheque following a special presentation of thanks. Donations such as this help us continue supporting unpaid carers across Surrey, providing vital respite, wellbeing support and practical help to those balancing caring responsibilities every day.

Trevoil Guild in Reigate
A huge thank you to the wonderful members of the Trefoil Guild, including some remarkable ladies in their 90s, for their generous donation of £231.
Liz Collier presented the cheque to our very own Emma Wilson at their AGM on 17 March 2026, followed by tea and cake. We also brought along some scones, jam and clotted cream as a small thank you for their support and hospitality.
Christ Church
We are incredibly grateful to Christ Church Shamley Green for their wonderful donation of £800.
We are also delighted to have been chosen as one of their nominated charities for 2026/27, and we look forward to building on this partnership over the coming year.
We’re excited to be attending the Christ Church Shamley Green Fête and Dog Show in June and would like to thank everyone at the church and wider community for their generosity and support.
Leatherhead Golf Club
We were delighted to receive a generous donation of £6,000 from The Leatherhead Club, presented by Captain 2024–2025 Keith Stinson on 7 December 2025.
The money was raised through a range of fundraising activities throughout Keith’s captaincy year, including the Captain’s Charity Bunkers scheme, member donations, raffles at festive events, a quiz night and the auction of donated golf green fees.
The cheque was presented to Emma on behalf of Crossroads Care Surrey, and we are incredibly grateful to Keith and all the members of The Leatherhead Club for their generosity and support.
Banstead & Sutton Nonsuch Rotary Club
A huge thank you to Banstead Sutton & Nonsuch Rotary for their generous donation of £2,000, presented on 18 November 2025 as part of Rotary President Jane Illingworth’s 2024–2025 charity year.
Jane chose Crossroads Care Surrey in recognition of the support she received while caring for her widowed mother as a single parent. The cheque was presented after a dinner at Cuddington Golf Club, where Christine Jacobs shared the work of the charity and thanked members for their generosity.
We are very grateful for their continued support and look forward to joining them at future events.
Staines Rotary
A huge thank you to Staines Rotary for their generous donation of £500, presented at the Staines Rotary Charities Celebration Evening on 3 February 2026.
The donation was made possible through the Santa Street Collections in Staines and will help support our ongoing work in the community.

Banstead & Sutton Nonsuch Rotary – Christmas Collection
We were delighted to take part in this festive fundraising event, which raised an impressive £943 on the day. As one of the benefiting charities, we were grateful to receive £471.50 to support our work.
Emma was joined by trustee Catherine Jager and Rip, while Louis Riccio from Birchgrove brought plenty of Christmas cheer in his role as Santa. Also lending a hand were Emma’s daughter, Penelope (11), and son, Monty (14), who joined the event after breaking up for the Christmas holidays.
