Discover how our services are funded and who supports our charity.
Charity funding
Crossroads Care Surrey is a registered charity.
Each year we must raise over £350,000 through the generosity and ongoing support of charitable trusts and foundations, corporate supporters, regular donors and community groups.
These donations not only help us continue providing high quality, vital support to unpaid carers in Surrey, they also play a crucial role in enabling us to identify and create new ways to meet the ever-changing needs and growing number of selfless carers who require our support.

Trusts and grants
By supporting us through your charitable trust or foundation, you can help us to continue delivering the vital care and support to thousands of unpaid carers across Surrey.
Financial support from grant making trusts and foundations is crucial to the survival and evolution of our day-to-day services. As well as providing support towards our running costs, significant donations can be used to support a particular area of our work.
For example, your trust could help us create a new service or fund a pilot project that extends the duration of breaks we can offer. Perhaps you would like to help us purchase equipment that allows us to deliver bespoke in-house training to our team of carer support workers?

Case study: volunteer befriending and community outreach
During 2020, Covid19 relief funding helped Crossroads to adapt and thrive so that we could remain sustainable and help more unpaid carers during a difficult period. As a front-line care provider, additional funding supported the purchase of PPE for our employees – keeping carers, their families and our staff safe whilst continuing to care.
Additionally, project funding towards connecting carers and those most vulnerable with befriending calls and outreach in the community, lead towards bringing digital tech to reach more vulnerable carers and older people who were not yet familiar and confident in using online technology.
