We are very grateful to everyone supporting our charity and Surrey’s unpaid carers via generous donations and grants over the period November 2021 to February 2022, we would like to thank:
- Waitrose Dorking – for including us in their ‘Community Matters’ scheme last year and to all their customers raising over £300 for us from their ‘green token’ scheme.
- Balloons4Charity and our staff member, Claire, for entering their competition to win a donation of colourful ‘Crossroads Care Surrey’ branded balloons that will bring attention to our charity stall and stands at future events.
- Sass and Belle who donated a set of 24 beautiful mugs (pictured on our main title image), to be put to very good use by Carer Support Workers.
- Walton Charity, Sherwood House Care Home and Walsingham Care for their funding partnership to provide a generous £15,000 grant to allow us to provide more respite breaks to carers looking after loved ones with dementia within Elmbridge in Surrey.
- Shanly Homes and Shanly Foundation for a donation of £3,000 to allow us to provide more support to the family carers of young people with learning disabilities in Surrey, aged between 14 – 16 years.
- The Hedley Foundation – for a donation of £2,500 to allow us to purchase a lifting hoist to assist people with complex needs in our club setting.
- Everyone supporting us via individual donations
- Our volunteers for supporting us and donating their time to help us continue to support carers.
