Charity of the year partnerships
This is a great way to unite your employees, including those working remotely, behind a common goal… to support unpaid carers. Whilst currently 1 in 7 employees are unpaid carers, it’s estimated that 2 out of 3 of us will become an unpaid carer at some point in our lives.
We will support all employee fundraising and can attend your events, bringing branded collateral and information where required. Don’t forget to check out our events page for ways to fundraise.
Join us as business supporters
Our employers hub for unpaid caring is completely free and not onerous on you at all. As an employer it helps you to understand unpaid caring in the workplace and how we can both offer support to unpaid carers in your employment.
Make your employees aware
Our unpaid carers hub is a free resource designed to support all unpaid carers across Surrey by providing them with a pathway of information, created and updated by us for the thousands of unpaid carers across the county.
The Surrey carers card
Your company may be able to offer something that benefits unpaid carers who hold a Surrey carers card. It could be a discount or money off offer solely for them to show your support of the unselfish unpaid caring they do.
More ways to support
Sponsorship
We have several sponsorship opportunities. You might like to sponsor our information hubs which will help us to keep them constantly updated or you may like to sponsor one of our fundraising events. Sponsoring a fundraising event is great PR for you and helps us enormously by reducing the cost to us of delivering the event.
Matched funding
Why not support your employee’s fundraising efforts by matching the money that they raise. This is a fantastic way of motivating your staff by showing your support for their efforts, as well as raising your profile.
Employee volunteering
We are always looking for volunteers. There are opportunities for those that can volunteer for 2 to 4 hours each week or those that can volunteer for a day, or part of a day, to support various events. Please get in touch with us to discuss upcoming volunteering opportunities for your employees.
Gifts in kind
Providing gifts in kind can be a simple but effective way of supporting us. You may be able to support us with auction or raffle prizes. You may be able to donate products that can be used to thank our carer support workers or brighten the day of an unpaid carer. You may be able to offer us pro bono professional services that can support the operational side of our charity.
Payroll giving
This is a simple tax efficient scheme that allows you to make regular donations directly from your salary. It is an effective way for employees to support our work in their local community.
Corporate foundations
Many businesses have their own corporate foundations. If your company has a foundation and you’d like Crossroads Care Surrey to be considered for a grant, please let us know.
