Our primary aim is to meet the needs of local residents of all ages, assisting them to lead independent, fuller and richer lives whilst preventing social isolation.  We also help those temporarily incapacitated due to injury of surgery.

Horsley Wheel of Care is a locally operated charity, run by a large team of dedicated volunteers who give their time and resources to provide transport, sitting services and clubs to improve the lives of local residents.

How the service works:

Firstly, register with our service by ringing the following number : 07788 552 767, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) between 10:00 a.m. and noon.

When you need our service, ring the number and a duty officer will take details of your request, find a suitable volunteer and ring you back to confirm all the details. We take bookings up to one week in advance. Whenever possible, we would appreciate at least 48 hours notice. We do not offer a same-day service.

We ask for a small donation towards the cost of any journey requested. These donations are entirely voluntary and you are free to give more or less if you wish.
