Winston’s Wish is a national charity that provides bereavement support, guidance and information to children and young people (up to 25) and their families after the death of someone close to them. We offer a range of practical support via a Freephone Helpline, online resources, one-to-one and group support, publications, and training for professionals.

Every day in the UK, more than 100 children are bereaved of a parent. This can be the most traumatic experience a child will ever have to face. We can’t change what has happened, but we can help children understand their emotions and provide a safe place for them to grieve.
