The Meeting Room is a registered charity operating in the Mole Valley and Epsom areas. The charity was founded in 2014 by Graham Peddie MBE, who was a leading advocate for assisting the most vulnerable people in our community. Our clients are of all backgrounds and ages and our focus is to provide meaningful support to those with a wide variety of issues including homelessness, poverty, physical or mental health difficulties, breakdown of relationships, social exclusion and loneliness and issues with alcohol or drugs.

We run lunchtime time drop-in centres in Leatherhead, Ashtead and Epsom.

 Monday 11am – 2pm

Leatherhead Football Club

Guildford Road, Leatherhead, KT22 9AS

 Tuesday 12:15pm – 2:30pm

Ashtead Baptist Church

192 Barnett Wood Ln, Ashtead KT21 2LW

 Thursday 10:30am – 1:30pm

The Kings Church, Epsom

Gibraltar Crescent, off Longmead Road, Epsom, KT19 9BU

Our aim is to provide a safe and welcoming environment, a hot meal and the opportunity to talk to our trained staff about whatever issues our clients are facing.

Many of our clients do not have a support network of friends and family to help them overcome the challenges in their daily lives. Our highly skilled and experienced staff can provide advice and guidance in areas such as benefits, finance, work, accommodation, personal or health issues and we can signpost them to other agencies if needed. We also assist clients with attending medical related appointments. In addition, with mental health & well-being in mind, we have a comprehensive program of activities including day trips and residential outings to build confidence and self-esteem.
