The Meeting Place is a local charity offering a variety of activities aimed at reducing isolation in Bookham and the surrounding area. We run a Coffee Shop, a Community Fridge, Language Hub for those whose first language is not English, Lip Reading classes and hearing aid maintenance for those with hearing loss and a Community Chaplaincy.

The Community Fridge team collects food from local shops and supermarkets that would otherwise be wasted. It is available to anyone who can use it.

The Community Fridge takes place at Bookham Baptist Church on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 11:15 to 12.15, and Saturday mornings 10:30 to 11:30.
