Our new fund is designed to help British Gas customers with energy debt and could provide a grant worth up to £1,500.
Alongside our new support fund, the existing Individuals & Families fund also offers grants to anyone with energy debt between £250 and £750. And you don’t need to be a British Gas customer to apply.
Help on-hand, however you pay
Our support fund can help if you’re struggling with energy debt – whether you pay monthly, quarterly, or via a Pay As You Go (prepayment) meter.
That includes £10 million of support specifically for Pay As You Go customers, including free top ups for those who need it most. If you’re eligible, we’ll let you know as soon as possible to provide support. There’s no need to apply.
