We are a friendly, local group of 20 volunteers who support approximately 40 clients. Most of our work is driving clients to medical appointments at local hospitals, GP surgeries and dentists as well as giving lifts to hairdressers and local shops.

Volunteers give their time for free but can claim a mileage allowance. The type, time and amount of help you give is up to you.  Our clients usually give a small donation for the help they receive.

We offer clients help with:

• Transport to local hospitals, GP surgeries and dentists

• Lifts to hairdressers and shops

• Doing shopping or collecting prescriptions

• Friendly, supportive home visits

• Giving information about local services
