Care for Guildford is a volunteer led local charity providing practical support to local people in need. Using their own cars, its volunteer drivers provide a reliable, caring transport service to/from essential medical appointments to those who might otherwise struggle to attend the appointments they desperately need.

Care for Guildford also offers a shopping service on a weekly or fortnightly basis for housebound clients, or on a temporary basis, for example, to help someone when they come out of hospital.

Whilst there is no set charge for using Care for Guildford’s services, (unless attending appointments outside of the Guildford area), voluntary donations from clients are welcome to help fund the cost of its services.

To be eligible to use Care for Guildford’s services you need to live within the urban area of the Borough – this includes the town centre, Onslow Village, Park Barn & Westborough, Burpham & Merrow and Stoughton & Bellfields’
