Covid-19:

Due to our face to face care services being suspended, we will not be recruiting any new employees for the forseeable future. We will review this decision on a regular basis following guidance from The UK Government & The Department of Health & Social Services

Carer Support Workers and Playworkers

They say variety is the spice of life, and that’s certainly true when you work in care!
No two days are the same, and as well as a varied worklife, you’ll also be constantly developing new skills. All this will enable you to provide first-class support to the many unpaid Carers who need a respite break.

Our Carer Support Workers say they love working for Crossroads and many have been with us for many years.

Playworkers

We provide respite breaks to help ease the strain on unpaid carers, giving them a few hours to themselves by taking over the care duties. One of the ways we do this is through our Saturday Children’s Club. The Club provides a safe environment for children with disabilities and complex health needs to have fun, learn and socialise.

We need playworkers who enjoy making a difference to children with disabilities and complex health needs by running fun and meaningful activities for them to learn and socialise at our club in Walton-on-Thames each Saturday.

Apply today by downloading our Application Form or enquire online by completing our online application and upload your CV.

If you’re looking for a career in care or special needs education, a part-time Saturday position at our Children’s club may be the perfect opportunity to gain some experience – apply today!
