Care Roles

They say variety is the spice of life, and that’s certainly true when you work in care!

No two days are the same, and as well as a varied worklife, you’ll also be constantly developing new skills.

All this will enable you to provide first-class support to the many unpaid Carers who need a respite break. Our Carer Support Workers say they love working for Crossroads and many have been with us for many years.

Walton-on-Thames

Can you make a difference to children with disabilities and complex health needs, by running fun and meaningful activities for them to learn and socialise?

We provide respite breaks to help ease the strain on carers, giving them a few hours to themselves by lending a hand with their caring responsibility for a few short hours each week. One of the ways we do this is through our Children’s Club. The Club provides a safe environment for children with disabilities and complex health needs to have fun, learn and socialise.

Playworker roles are part-time at the weekend, and you will need to be able to travel to our club in Walton-on-Thames. We offer a competitive hourly rate and will provide you with the training you need to work with children in our care.

Apply today by downloading our Application Form or enquire online by completing our online application and upload your CV.

If you’re looking for a career in care or special needs education, a part-time weekend position at our Children’s club may be the perfect opportunity to gain some experience – apply today!
