Our seven-day service allows people to remain independent in their own home.<\/p>\n<p>The service can be provided for as long as you need, so whether you want a couple of days a week or something more long-term, we can deliver a service that suits you.<\/p>\n<p>We can provide a range of specialised diets such as vegetarian, gluten free, soft or diabetic. We endeavour to provide meals that meet the medical and cultural needs of our customers.<\/p>\n<p>And our service isn\u2019t just a hot meal! Our volunteer delivery drivers have a quick chat with everyone on the round, making sure everything\u2019s okay and giving peace of mind to friends and family.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Service criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The weekday Meals on Wheels service is for people who:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>live alone or with an elderly carer and are unable to heat up or cook a meal<\/li>\n<li>do not have the ability to shop for a main meal<\/li>\n<li>are able to remain living at home if Meals on Wheels services are provided<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, we can provide a weekend service to residents who:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>do not have family\/other support living within 10 miles<\/li>\n<li>are receiving\u00a0meals on wheels every day during the week<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For residents who do not meet the criteria for weekend delivery, we can provide frozen meals to be heated up by the resident alongside a hot meal delivery before the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our prices have also recently gone up, as follows:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<table width=\"768\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Service<\/strong><\/td>\n<td><strong>Provides<\/strong><\/td>\n<td><strong>Cost<\/strong><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td>Hot lunchtime service<\/td>\n<td>Either a 2 course (main meal and pudding) or 1 course meal.<br \/>\nMeals include classics such as roast beef and Yorkshire pudding or fish in parsley sauce.
