Fetcham now has its own community fridge which is available for everyone to use.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s located at St Mary\u2019s Church Hall, just off the Ridgeway, and is open every Monday morning from 10-11 am.<\/p>\n

The fridge is not a food bank, as no referral is needed. Instead the fridge team collects food from local shops and supermarkets that would otherwise be wasted and sent to landfill.<\/p>\n

Organised by the Bookham-based charity The Meeting Place, the fridge is also open at two other locations at other times during the week.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s at Bookham Baptist Church on Tuesday mornings from 1115 to 1215; on Friday from 1130 to 1230, and on Saturday from 1030 to 1200.<\/p>\n
