Older people in the area meet on the 3rd Wednesday each month at the Banstead Centre<\/p>\n
On arrival, at 11am, members have a choice of coffee or tea and biscuits. This is followed by a 2 course lunch at 12.30pm with the meeting closing at 2.30 pm. A small charge is made for the lunch and transport.<\/p>\n
Most members are brought to the club by our Age Concern minibus or by a volunteer driver, although a few live nearby and walk to the meeting.<\/p>\n
We have the use of a large comfortable room with capacity for about 20 guests and 6 vounteers.<\/p>\n
Special occasions are celebrated such as Christmas, Easter, Jubilees and ‘noughtie’ birthdays.<\/p>\n
