SUMMARY:St. Mark's Church - Community Cinema
DESCRIPTION:Our Community Cinema will restart on  Sunday September 24th 2023 at 7.30 pm \nAt St Mark’s we offer popular films you missed the first time around. The films are shown in high definition and on our big screen\, usually with sub-titles. We hope to create a friendly atmosphere where everyone should feel at home. About half-way through the film we break for free tea or coffee.  Ice creams and popcorn available for a small charge \nNo booking is necessary and we charge no admission fees but invite donations to cover our licence fees and purchase of equipment and films. The terms of our licence mean we are unable to publicly advertise the films we are showing. Details of the film title can be gained by joining our email mailing list. If you let us have your email address we will add you to the mailing list.  Film titles are also displayed at the church on the outside notice board near the entrance door. Please feel free to make suggestions for future films. \nWe show films from September to April to benefit from the dark evenings. \nA few cushions are available\, but it is a good idea to bring your own cushion if you require one. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe United Church of St Mark\, Great Tattenhams  KT18 5RB \n  \n  \n8pm Sunday 30th March \nKEEPING MUM (15) \n \nKEEPING MUM: Walter Goodfellow (Rowan Atkinson)\, vicar of the British village Little Wallop\, is busy composing the perfect sermon. So busy\, in fact\, that he fails to notice his bored wife’s (Kristin Scott Thomas) flirtation with her American golf instructor (Patrick Swayze)\, his daughter’s revolving set of boyfriends\, or his son’s status as the favourite target of bullies. Enter Grace Hawkins (Maggie Smith)\, the new housekeeper\, who has a drastic solution to the family’s problems.\nA good British comedy with a stellar cast.\nThe film is rated 15 and contains mild swearing and sexual content \nDoors open at 7.45pm. Film finishes at 9.55pm. \n  \n
