DESCRIPTION:We are proud to provide quality services for people experiencing a range of memory concerns. \nMemory Lane – our MCST Sessions for people experiencing a range of memory concerns.\nNew at the Clockhouse Community Centre and open to people with any type of dementia diagnosis OR with mild cognitive impairment\, Pause for Thought are sessions to help maintain memory and mental functioning. \nTrained staff\, supported by volunteers deliver the Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (MCST) sessions\, the only non-drug treatment recommended by NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence). These MCST sessions run stimulating activities proven to maintain memory and foster new friendships. It offers a fun\, supportive environment\, with activities including discussions\, quizzes\, creative activities and musical activities. \nWhen and Where?\nMondays and Thursdays \, 11.00am – 12.30pm at the Clockhouse Community Centre\, Chapel Lane\, Milford\, GU8 5EZ. \nCost £15 per session. \nEmail: Elvina.Dunstan@ageuksurrey.org.uk\nTelephone: 01483 420668
