DESCRIPTION:Come along to our Carers’ Hub for information\, advice and support. No need to book\, just drop in. \nCarers’ Hub – Leatherhead\nOur Hubs are ‘drop-in’ locations for Surrey’s carers to visit for advice and support. \nAt the Hub you can meet with Action for Carers’ staff and volunteers. You can get information and advice on your caring role and the support available\, and also enjoy a cuppa and a chat. \nWe often hold events at our Hubs too – such as special information events and support groups. \nLOCATION: The Leatherhead Hub is situated on the Kingston Road and is also accessible via the rear of the building (where you’ll find parking). So if driving\, turn down Aperdele Road\, take the first right and follow the lane all the way around the recreation ground.  \n  \nThe Hubs are ‘drop in’…\nThere’s no need to book\, just come along. We’d be delighted to see you. \nSecond and forth Friday of each month.

DESCRIPTION:We believe that no food should go to waste and that everyone should have access to fresh\, healthy food.\nWe now have a dual purpose: to reduce food waste and to influence behaviour and policy around food waste\, and to help those who find themselves in food poverty and insecurity. The food is available to everyone; all we ask is for a voluntary donation of £2.50 per visit to help with our costs and to help us to survive. \nCome to take the food and make a donation if you can!\nEvery Wednesday and Thursday from 1-2pm at the Leatherhead Community Hub

DESCRIPTION:Come along to our Advice Café in the The Old Schoolhouse Café every Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11:30am for drop-in advice on benefits\, debt\, housing and other important issues. \n  \nNo need to make an appointment – just turn up. \n  \nYou can get free advice\, information and support from our expert advisers\, including: \nCitizens Advice Mole Valley – benefits and other issues \nChristians Against Poverty (CAP) – debt advice \nGood Company (Foodbank) – financial and practical support \nSocial Prescribing – health and wellbeing \nClarion Housing and Clarion Futures – training and employment\, housing \nSurrey Community Action – energy \nMary Frances Trust – mental health \nSES Water – water bills \nTo find out which advisers will be there each week\, have a look at the rota on the display board in the lobby area\, or ask at the café.
