Instead the fridge team collects food from local shops and supermarkets that would otherwise be wasted and sent to landfill. \nOrganised by the Bookham-based charity The Meeting Place\, the fridge is also open at two other locations at other times during the week. \nIt’s at Bookham Baptist Church on Tuesday mornings from 1115 to 1215; on Friday from 1130 to 1230\, and on Saturday from 1030 to 1200. \nAnd on Tuesday mornings from 1030 to 1130 it is also open at the Grange Centre Bookham.
