SUMMARY:Spelthorne Boccia Club
DESCRIPTION:Boccia is a disability sport which is similar to bowls and pétanque. The aim of the game is to propel leather balls\, coloured red or blue\, close to a white target ball (the jack).  It is played from a seated position and the ball can be moved with players’ hands\, feet or an assistive device eg a head or hand pointer. \nOur club\, which is funded by Sport England\, is aimed at people aged 16+ with disabilities (young people aged 14+ may join with an adult carer present). \n  \nWhere – Spelthorne Eclipse Leisure Centre\, Knowle Green\, Staines\nWhen – Every Thursday 6pm – 7pm\nCost – £3 per week (no need to book\, just turn up and join in) \n\n\nContact : +44 7901864684\n\n\n\n\n\nEmail : teamspelthorneboccia@gmail.com
