DESCRIPTION:The Parkinson’s Friendship Group (formerly the Working Age Group) meets regularly in person and anyone who would like to join in is very welcome. This is a friendly get-together with lots of conversation\, sharing and listening. \nEvery third Wednesday of each month we meet at the Squirrel Inn\, Godalming\, from 7.00 pm. Most members order something to eat as there is a varied menu from which to order a meal or a dessert and coffee. Formerly called the Working Age Group (WAG) this group will now be known as the Friendship Group. Meet others with similar life experiences\, see if our services can support you. \nBrain injury can be caused at any time in your life. The result is that you may not be able to do the things you used to do.  Your personality may have changed.  So\, if you have experienced a stroke\, heart attack\, brain tumour\, encephalitis\, aneurysm\, etc\, or a traumatic injury such as a road traffic collision\, sporting injury\, work incident\, trip or fall\, assault come and see us. \nEnjoy a cup of tea/coffee\, talk to our knowledgeable staff\, talk to others\, play a game of pool\, play a board game or cards\, sit in our small garden\, read the newspaper.  All welcome. \nFREE OF CHARGE – Donations welcome for tea\, coffee\, biscuits and cake. \nIt’s helpful but not essential if you can let us know you are coming in advance enquiries@headwaysurrey.org \nPARKING    If you have a blue badge\, please let us know in advance.  We have 5 parking spaces Bays A-E outside the centre and there are additional on street free parking spaces in North Road\, Stoughton Road and Stoughton Barracks.
