DESCRIPTION:Leatherhead Link Day Service is now open Monday to Friday\, 51 weeks of the year. We are closed for Christmas week and bank holidays. Our days begin at 9:15am and finish at 3:30pm. \n​ \nOur newly opened day on Wednesdays is aimed at adults who require more support. Service users requiring 1:1 support can bring their PAs along and attend whole or part day sessions. Activities include: music and movement\, cooking sessions\, arts and crafts and sensory integration with visiting professionals such as yoga\, musicians and theatre groups. We currently have vacancies for Wednesdays. \n​ \nThe Leatherhead Link aims to provide a rich variety of activities which include life skills\, gardening\, keep fit\, boccia\, arts and crafts\, excursions and hosting social events. We provide a home prepared mid-day meal. \n​ \nLeatherhead Link is managed by Catherine Shrimpton and her team of 6 highly experienced members of staff. \n​ \nLeatherhead Link offers a personalised approach to day service care where members can learn life skills\, join in activities and socialise in a warm and friendly atmosphere

SUMMARY:St Peter’s Hospital Armed Forces and  Veterans Breakfast Club
DESCRIPTION:ASPH are one of the first NHS Trusts to launch a Breakfast Club for serving and non-serving armed forces and their families. \nThe Armed Forces and Veterans Breakfast Club concept is a worldwide initiative set up by a former soldier\, which provides active and retired service men and women with the opportunity to meet up and relax over breakfast. \nAs a veteran aware Trust and holder of the Gold status under the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS)\, Ashford and St Peter’s wanted to extend their support to provide a place for serving and retired military personnel and their families to meet once a month over breakfast. \nThe first ASPH Breakfast Club was launched at St Peter’s during Armed Forces Week\, where several military personnel shared stories over breakfast and were introduced to military partners like OpCourage who provide mental wellbeing services for the military. \nThe Breakfast Club is held from 10.00am to 11.30am on the last Friday of every month in the Edu-Kitchen at St Peter’s hospital and there is free parking in the Hazel car park. These sessions are perfect for people who feel unsteady on their feet or are worried about falling. Exercises are adapted to the needs and abilities of older adults. \nMonday 9.45am – 10.45am and 11.00am – 12 noon. \nFriday 10.40am – 11.40am and 11.45am – 12.45pm. \n£6.50 per session for these amazing exercise classes

SUMMARY:Bookham Baptist Church - Community Fridge
DESCRIPTION:Fetcham now has its own community fridge which is available for everyone to use. \nIt’s located at St Mary’s Church Hall\, just off the Ridgeway\, and is open every Monday morning from 10-11 am. \nThe fridge is not a food bank\, as no referral is needed. Instead the fridge team collects food from local shops and supermarkets that would otherwise be wasted and sent to landfill. \nOrganised by the Bookham-based charity The Meeting Place\, the fridge is also open at two other locations at other times during the week. \nIt’s at Bookham Baptist Church on Tuesday mornings from 1115 to 1215; on Friday from 1130 to 1230\, and on Saturday from 1030 to 1200. \nAnd on Tuesday mornings from 1030 to 1130 it is also open at the Grange Centre Bookham.
