Spelthorne Boccia Club

Boccia is a disability sport which is similar to bowls and pétanque. The aim of the game is to propel leather balls, coloured red or blue, close to a white target ball (the jack).  It is played from a seated position and the ball can be moved with players’ hands, feet or an assistive device eg a head or hand pointer.

Our club, which is funded by Sport England, is aimed at people aged 16+ with disabilities (young people aged 14+ may join with an adult carer present).

Where – Spelthorne Eclipse Leisure Centre, Knowle Green, Staines
When – Every Thursday 6pm – 7pm
Cost – £3 per week (no need to book, just turn up and join in)
