Clubs

We know how important it to get out and about, meet people and just have fun – whether you’re the person caring or the person being cared for. That’s why we go beyond just offering respite breaks and provide a series of clubs and activities across Surrey.

From social clubs for adults with varying disabilities and Care Cafés for carers, through to groups aimed at those with dementia and Saturday Clubs for children, we have something for everyone. These clubs are a great value way to give carers an extended break of up to five hours for minimal cost.

And best of all, these are open to everyone – so don’t worry if you don’t receive respite breaks from us, you’re still more than welcome to join one of our clubs – just give us a call to find out more first.

Joining our clubs

If you’re caring for someone with care needs, we want to support you to have a break, special time away from caring. Clubs can give you peace of mind to go off and enjoy your own space with qualified Carer Support workers to take on your caring role for a few hours. Call us today to find out more about how our community clubs can support you.

However, there are a few things we need to work through before you join us, just so we can be sure our clubs are right for you or your loved one.

  • You can attend as many clubs in a week as you would like but only the first one will be at the subsidised rate
  • Each session must be booked in advance with your local Care Co-ordinator
  • A place at the Club is subject to an assessment of care needs to ensure we can support the person
  • If a place at a Club is offered please let us know if the attendee is not attending that day/week
  • You will need to arrange suitable transport to and from the Club for the attendee

If you’d like to chat about coming to one of our clubs, or need any further information, please call 01372 869970 or email enquiries@crossroadscaresurrey.org.uk
